Jiankun Hua, was born in Tailai County, Heilongjiang Province in 1945. He
studied as both undergraduate and graduate student 
in
the Department of Oil Painting at Luxun Art Institute in Shenyang in the
1970's.Mr. Hua visited Yelugusc, Moscow, and Petersburg of Russia for cultural
exchange. His works have been published in the People's Daily and other
newspapers. Now he is the vice chairman of Benxi Artists Association and
the director of Hua's Gallery, Beijing.
